The Energy Research Company (EPE), planning agency of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil (MME), is finalizing the study on photovoltaic solar energy. This study will present proposals to boost the development of this source in the country, both in the area of distributed generation, with small panes in homes and industries, as in larger plants.
This study will also present simulations of the government incentives that may be given to this source so that it can gain competitiveness and participate in energy auctions.
In addition, the solar microgeneration is under study by the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL), and proposes an exchange between customer and distributor, ie, the energy produced by solar panels would be measured and valued, and deducted from the invoice charged to the consumer.
