In Brazil, some initiatives to encourage the development of solar energy are materializing.
Recently, the Government of Rio de Janeiro signed a document that brings 14 proposals to encourage the production and use of solar energy in the state, prepared by the Department of Graduate Programs in Engineering of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, called "The Charter of the Sun".
This important document brings together proposals for tariff reductions in distribution and transmission of energy, the introduction of the solar photovoltaics energy in the Incentive Program for Electric Power Supplies, the creation of training programs and training of hand work to act at all stages of the production chain, and using the instrument of environmental licensing for promotion of photovoltaic energy.
In addition, advocates the use of solar panels, highlighting their advantages, considering the favorable climatic conditions of Brazil, the availability of natural resources for the production of plates, and the fact that this type of energy not dependent on major transmission lines, which reduces the cost of generation and distribution.
Soon, this energy sector of Brazil will create many opportunities and great investments.
