International Group is interested in acquiring Brazilian PCHs in operation, with a power output exceeding 10 MW. They study also the purchase of hydroelectric units in preparation (LI), under development or in inventory.

Great Opportunity - Wind Farms in Northeast Brazil for Sale (100%)

Two wind farms with total power of 151.9 MW. Both wind farms with PPA (Rates PROINFA).

Wind farm (1) with a 51.2 MW, in operation since 2010, with a capacity factor of 34%, and 152500 MWh contracted.
Wind farm (2) with 100.7 MW in final stage of construction and assembly, to start operation in the first half of 2012, with a capacity factor of 30%, and 267300 MWh contracted.

Based on these preliminary data, the client interested in buying these wind farms shall formalize a LOI / NDA to have acess to all informations and documentations of these wind farms.

Electric Cars in Brazil, not yet ...

International groups are keen to bring to Brazil, in large-scale, electric cars.

Recently, in the REDS, we receive these investors to discuss on the viability of that business in Brazil and its consequences. We all know that replacing the current cars by electric models is one possible solution for the reductions of emissions of pollutant gases, and of the greenhouse effect caused by this pollution.

However, before any entrepreneurial initiative of this kind, we have to project the impact of this change (the increased demand for electric energy) in the current power generating capacity in Brazil.

Just as an example, the impact of this change of energy source (replace vehicles powered by gasoline, diesel and ethanol by electric models) if implemented only in the state of São Paulo, will require building a new hydroelectric with power equal of the Itaipu.

So it's not moment yet ...

Professional with multidisciplinary experience, specialized in the management of companies, projects and engineering services, and business and highly complex contracts in various areas. This experience was formed over more than thirty years of works carried out responsibly and successfully in Brazil and also in other countries.

From March 1994 to May 2012, as chief executive of the REDS, was responsible for directing and carrying out major projects and consultancies, and total management (technical, operational and financial) of major contracts for engineering services, mainly in the sectors of energy (electrical, nuclear, oil and gas), infrastructure (special projects, basic sanitation and PAC) and environmental and sustainability (TAC). Even in the period December 2005 to July 2011, participated in the restructuring of the engineering company "ECONTEP", accumulating the position of Chief Operating in the same, and commanding a workforce of over 1000 direct employees, to provide services to large customers in the Brazilian market, among which are: "PETROBRAS", "ELETROBRAS", "ELETRONUCLEAR“ and "BAHIAGÁS".

Before March 1994, participated directly in managing the development and expansion of the British consulting company "MACKENZIE HILL" in South America (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago), the restructuring of the consulting firm "MARKA PARTICIPAÇÕES“ (subsidiary of Banco Marka), and major engineering projects and developments (residential, commercial and industrial) that after enabled (technical, economic and financial) were implanted in Brazil and other countries.
