Solar Energy in Brazil, already in 2012

EPE (Energy Research Company, linked to the Brazilian government) is making a proposal for how would the introduction of solar energy in the country. The expectation is that this proposal will be ready by the end of 2011, to be forwarded to the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

Everything indicates that the model that will be approved in Brazil, will be to decentralized generation, or distributed generation which is the gateway to the source in the energy matrix.

This generation model is the most competitive, with the value of the electricity tariff paid by the consumer. Since, at this juncture, centralized generation is not feasible for solar energy, compared with other sources.

New Opportunities in Sector of Energy

1.  French Group associated with major South Korean conglomerate want to invest in Brazil and other South American countries, in projects of wind parks, solar farms and plants waste treatment with energy generation. They provide full funding of the technology, but with condition of supply of the necessary equipments and PPA signed.

2.  American company associated with the state-owned Chinese want to invest (equity) or finance large solar projects in Brazil, preferably. They also are willing to consider projects in others South American countries.

REDS Opportunities

We represent international financial group, in South America, for granting loans, under special conditions, to finance large projects, especially in strategic sectors of infrastructure, heavy construction, shipbuilding, oil and gas, electric energy, and other. Both projects with expected return of 16% per year, and investment equivalent to US$ 1.2 million / MW installed.

We represent other Brazilian  companies of technology, interested in developing cost-effective energy efficiency projects (LED and Smart Grid), sewage treatment, solid waste and recyclables.
