Solar energy in Brazil, very close to becoming reality.

Today, there's already more than 1 GW of solar projects in development and licensing in Brazil, waiting for the first auction of this energy source. These are initiatives of local companies in partnership with others, European, American and Asian, who are predicting a generation rate between US $ 120 and $ 140 / MWh for the first auction.

According to experts in this sector, the cost to develop and license a solar project and prepare it fully to participate in the auction can reach the figure of US $ 45,000 / MW. However, these experts predict that these projects will achieve great value when these auctions were already confirmed.

They also believe that there will be a great demand for full projects and able to participate in these auctions, and that these projects will be sold at prices higher than US $ 200,000 / MW.
